Only 5 minutes walk from the glorious 16th century Old Bridge, and with a large, beautiful roof terrace with fantastic views, aromatic herb garden and a cocktail bar, our hostel provides for a memorable and enjoyable stay in this fantastic historic city! Balkanarama Hostel is not just a beautiful, quirky, comfortable, clean place to stay – it’s a place where you can experience first hand the warmth and generosity that the people of these parts are well known for. The hostel is centrally located – a 10-minute walk from the main bus station and a 5-minute walk from the Old Bridge. Easy to reach from the main bus station – you only need to take one turn! Fantastic places to eat local food as well as cakes and pies are just around the corner, including the famous burek pie shops! Surrounded by the amazing building of the music school built during the Austro-Hungarian times on one side and with the two most famous city mosques on the left! Importantly – everything we offer – from brand new comfy beds in our dormitories/private rooms to a fabulous homemade local breakfast – comes at exceptionally competitive prices! Guests can choose from staying in 4- and 6-Bed Mixed Dorms with AC and two private rooms (with or without AC). There is a shared bathroom and a toilet on each floor, as well as common kitchen and lounge space, bar and rooftop terrace with breakfast options (basic breakfast is available for 2 EUR and deluxe local breakfast is available for 3 EUR).
