HEPOK stands as a testament to a region rich in history, where the joy of life is captured through the symbolism of the Old Bridge and the unique character of the indigenous wines, Žilavka and Blatina. The commitment to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Herzegovina is evident in every bottle.

Located just 35 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, the vineyards cover 300 hectares and benefit from the Mediterranean climate, with elevations ranging from 45 to 280 meters above sea level. The Željuša vineyard, spanning 260 hectares and surrounded by the Prenj and Velež mountains near the Neretva river, and the Kosor vineyard, 40 hectares south of Mostar by the Buna river, are equipped with advanced irrigation systems and state-of-the-art technology. These, combined with the expertise of skilled agronomists, ensure the production of the highest quality grapes.

HEPOK is a bridge to the enduring tradition and artistry of Herzegovinian winegrowing, offering a journey through the rich history of the region’s viticulture. Since the first Herzegovinian wine exhibition in 1955 and the establishment of HEPOK in 1956, this agricultural conglomerate has been a leader in the field. The Mostar winery, founded in 1961, was once the most modern wine-producing facility in the Balkans, reflecting decades of dedication and innovation.

HEPOK continues to honor the legacy of Herzegovinian winemaking, where tradition and innovation come together in every bottle.
